Folks, I’m ending my Post-a-Day for a Menu for Hope on a great feeling – we’ve made a difference!! I hope whoever wins my prize enjoys it! On Sunday we head to Puglia to visit my in-laws and eat way too much great Italian food. I’m taking a break from blogging (though I’ll probably be reading) until Jan. 2. Have a great holiday and read through my archives on the sidebar if you get bored!
Lots of lines here!
Milan is not known for being a great place for tourists, for having the best nature scene, or for being a good place to spend the summer. But something that cannot be denied is that Milan is a place that likes to enjoy and show off during the holidays!!!
These balls of light were placed around the center by the city government and were pretty festive, if not different, especially when compared to the sad Christmas tree I wrote about earlier.
Milan’s Christmas market can have some good finds for you, and if nothing else is a fun way to pass the time. I bought some dried cranberries that I needed for a recipe – I had run out of my stash from the States.
Everywhere you look, there’s something going on – free concerts, tastings, interactive displays, free samples, and lots and lots of shopping. This is the “fashion capital” after all. [Click through to my site if you don’t see the video below]
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year – see you in 2007!!
