I’ve talked a bit about the Menu for Hope – a big food-blogger-fueled fundraiser that I will be participating in again this year probably with a big basket of Italian goodies.
And I’m getting ready to go shopping for the items!!
But first, you only have until tomorrow evening to comment on my Italy Gift Guide post for a chance to win a collectors’ tin of Illy Caffe! And comment on my Dolce Italiano: Mosaic Biscotti to win a personalized, signed copy of Gina DePalma’s Dolce Italiano cookbook, and at Shelley at At Home in Rome‘s post for today!
I thought I would ask you what kinds of things you’d love to see in this year’s basket for the Menu for Hope! Please keep in mind non-perishable items that can be mailed. You can add an item if something’s missing! No prize for voting, but I gift you total anonymity, so please let me know your opinion!!

Farfallina... a roam to Rome says
So many great things up there…
Though if I had to choose one, I’ll always go for Balsamic Vinegar! I’m definitely one of its biggest fans :)

I added in Ciobar hot chocolate mix. It’s the best!
Typesetter says
J.Doe: I find it prtty junky, too sweet and not nearly enough chocolatey. besides, who really need a premade mix for something that can be done my mixing cocoa powder, corn or potato starch, a little sugar, a hint of salt and, if you like it, some spices?
